1. I had to pass a pin to the ikey (part of they way this one works) and as it
is in back of a server i have to pass info from client to server
2. you can only export the public key from the token (to a pfx) and it asks for
a pin when using the private key to encrypt data (i think thats right)
3. CIPUtil.exe cam with my token software (safenet ikey 2032 from geotrust)
whats yours?
4. Not sure think it depends on the key
5. yes.. the pdf is encripted using the public key and the certificates are
added to the pdf dictonary, but the signature can be made visiable.. ours has
text, a hyperlink, and a image

so lets get no 3. answered first "whats yours?"

Thanks for the reply.I have some doubts:-

1.Do i need to pass keycontainer name and pin necessarily?
2.If i use same way as we do by pfx file, when i try to make pkcs objects it
prompts me to enter pin for accessing the token.
3.I am new to smart card, can you please tell me will CIPUtil.exe work for me to
get keycontainer name or i should try something else?
4.The method you told is using pkcs 7...will it work for pkcs12 also?
5.this method returns a byte[] after signing,so if i will convert it back to
pdf, will i be able to see signature on pdf(Most imp.)
