I have question about the getPdfVersion() method.
I need to detect the pdf version of a file. The file was saved as PDF 1.3 once
in the past. Then it was saved as PDF 1.5.
If you open the file with Adobe Reader, you can see it is PDF 1.5 in the
version infomation, but IText is (PdfReader reader.getPdfVersion() ) returning
"3"
as the pdf version. Is this a known bug? Is there any work around?
I tried the following IText versions and all leads to the same result:
itext_1.5.4.jar
iText-2.1.7.jar
iText-5.0.4.jar
