I discovered my problem while using iText 5.0.2 and it appears to only occur
when concatenating specific PDFs produced by scanning documents generated using
the Adobe Acrobat 10.13 Paper Capture Plug In. I had upgraded iText when
version 5.0.2 was released about a year ago and have been using the application
since then. The problem was only recently discovered.
Perhaps bad coding on my part, but I was not catching the Null Pointer
Exception so my process aborts. I was not aware of the fix in iText version
5.3.4 and will look into upgrading. I am also going to add more specific
exception handling. Thank you for the assistance and information.
Thanks.
Ed
