Hi all.
I'm migrating a piece of code from iText library version 2.1.7 to latest
version 5.5.3.
I'm very confused about the new *PdfRead* class version.
Looking on the source code I've found this hierarchy:
....
public PdfReader(final InputStream is) throws IOException {
this(is, null);
....
public PdfReader(final InputStream is, final byte ownerPassword[]) throws
IOException {
this(
new *RandomAccessSourceFactory().createSource(is)*,
.....
public RandomAccessSource createSource(InputStream is) throws IOException{
try {
return createSource(StreamUtil.inputStreamToArray(is));
}
finally {
try {*is.close()*;}catch(IOException ioe){}
}
}
It seems that now isn't possible to read through an InputStream without
closing it.
Is it correct? What I'm wrong?
Thanks in advance
Andrea.
