There are two issues here: - for the exception problem you can send me the offending file and a small runnable standlone program throwing the exception.
- for PDF/X (ISO 15930) there's no support planned for it, specially considering that we have to pay to get the standard. If anyone is interested in donating the standard I'll have a look at it to see if it's doable with iText.
