Robson,

Do you see: BJSQMBOF instead of AIRPLANE? [Rot1 (like the old ROT13)... thus all text is shifted up by one ASCII character]
Is it only when printing or on the screen?
If it is when printing, from inside the same Reader 7.0, if you reprint it is fine? [Worst case requiring up to 2 reprints, then fine?]

See the iText email: [iText-questions] Re: PDF printing from Reader is randomly ROT1'ing the printed page(s)

I don't have a repeatable case yet. I have had multiple customer reports though. In my case it only occurs when printing to printers that use Postscript in the Microsoft print driver. I don't have an answer yet though. I need a more repeatable testcase.

Hi everyone,

I hava an application that is creating PDF files using
iText 3.0.0.10. If I open these PDFs using Adobe 6 or
5 there is no problem. But If I open with Adobe 7.0 I
have problems to select the text.

Example:

If I added these words one in each line (different Y):

AIRPLANE
BUS
TRAIN

(using cb.ShowTextAligned(PdfContentByte.ALIGN_LEFT,
wordtext,
X,
Y ,0);)

In Adobe 5 or 6...If I select all words or one word
and do a copy and paste in a notepad...all the words
are copy and paste ok.

But in Adobe 7, If I copy and paste ...sometimes I
receive something like "ABTIURRSA..." it seems it is
selecting by columns...

I am really desperate...because this application is on
production e the customer did an upgrade recently to
Adobe 7.0 and is seeing this error.

thanks for any help
