Ok Mark thanks.

Here it is another interesting info:
My colleague who uses TxTextControl (do you know? if not, you can see
http://www.textcontrol.com/) says that he isn't able to change programmatically
page's numbering (special) field for all the rtf documents that I created using
itext, while for rtf documents created with Word (or TxTextControl itself) with
special field page'numbering he can change/edit/modify these special fields.

However, I'll wait your computer's arrival :-)

Best regards.

Raffaele

You said the code was almost the same as in the tutorial. This might
seem like nitpicking, but especially with headers and fields that
sometimes makes the difference, which is why I wanted to see the
code. Also if I have no test case, I can't test anything.

The different behaviours amongst the different Word versions is
unfortunately uncontrollable. You'll have to complain to Microsoft
about that ;-). Refreshing of fields sometimes breaks and I don't
always know why. I'll look into this case.

I hope to have a computer with Word around in the next few days, I'll
have a look at it then.

Greetings,
Mark
