In my XML at the top I do see 

<xfdf xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/xfdf/"; xml:space="preserve">


so wouldn't that preserve the whitespace? If so it's not doing it or is
there another way I should merge the XFDF with the PDF than using
SetFields(xfdfReader)
