Hi,I have what seems to be simple task but can not figure out how to do it. I have a java windows application I developed using netbeans 7.1 that contains a text pane. The user may enter text with character attributes including any combination of bold, italics, underline, superscript, and subscript. It all looks fine in the text pane. I can copy that text out to a pdf file but can not include the character attributes so it is always just plain text. I am using iText-5.2.1. I also need to do the same for xml output. Attached is my PDFwriter class. Class "WrapTextPane" is just an extension of JTextPane and there are two because there are two separate text panes to output to the same pdf or xml file. I've searched all over the internet and java forums and nobody has answered. I would greatly appreciate whatever help anyone can offer.
Reading your question, I was convinced that you were experiencing a problem with the PdfGraphics2D class, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw that you were using Paragraph objects and even the MultiColumnText class (Is that still available in iText?)
I would have expected something like http://1t3xt.be/?117
