OK, i got a home build, with ivtv support. It works... kind of.

The audio and video are, of course out of sync, big time. (about 2 seconds?)

the "-delay" option doesn't seem to have an effect when using the ivtv output.
(It does when using standard display)

Similarly, subtitles ("-sid 0") do not show through ivtv (on my tv screen) (Is
this an occasion to use /dev/vbi16 ?) (Again, the subtitles /do/ show up when
viewing through main display)

I have a /really/ hard time using the +/- keys to sync up audio/video, for mpg
files, although, perhaps, it's possible.

Question: any way to overcome this? Can the ivtv component(s) be enhanced
somehow to allow subtitles?

Thanks!

Andrew
