Just thought I'd finally drop a note about the status of latest driver in 
Gentoo.

Usually I'm pretty good about getting them out rather quickly, but I wanted to 
test 0.10.0 a little bit more since I know it has some extra tools.  As a 
result, the ebuild should be much better than any currently in the tree.

Right now it is package.masked[1], but only because we are not applying the 
kernel patch for the 2.6.20 kernels.  If you aren't using that version, you 
should be fine, feel free to emerge it and report to me on bugzilla[2] any 
issues you have.

As far as getting the kernel patched, I do know of one ebuild that does it, but 
it seems a rather ugly thing to do, and I'd prefer to get it merged into 
gentoo-sources instead, which we already have a bug filed for[3].
