I have a box with two pvr500s in it. I've noticed over the last month or so that occasionally mythtv would record programs without sound. I wasn't sure if this was a myth problem or ivtv, but last night I was able to see it fail using "mplayer /dev/video0". The other 3 tuners were operating successfully. I then did "rmmod ivtv" and "modprobe ivtv" and all 4 tuners were working correctly. And after several recordings last night (tuners unknown) /dev/video0 still has sound this morning. I have the latest ivtv from atrpms:
