Done, but nothing was in dmesg relating to lircd > Wait a sec - just noticed - what's up with the 'lirc_i2c alias ath0 ath_pci' > line in modprobe.conf??? Did you accidentally join two unrelated lines > together (the end of the 'install lirc_i2c' line and the 'alias ath0 ath_pci' > line)??? I think that was just word wrap, it's 3 lines here, ath0/eth1 is for my wireless card, which works perfectly. I added a comment line between them also. > HTH!
