hello,

i'm trying to play a regular avi file with mplayer.
x11 works but video is too slow and out of sync.
i tried the latest ivtvdev X driver 10.2 i think
together with the latest ivtv driver 0.3.7a , but
mplayer doesn't play the avi, it put it on verbose=3
and this is the output:

   1.
      X11 opening display: :0
   2.

anyone knows what this can be ?
maybe i need to pass on new parameters to the module?
i haven't changed anything to my module configuration
when moving from 0.2.x to the latest unstable version

any help will be greatly appreciated!
