I'm starting to tear my hair out. I've tried patching ivtv-fileops.c,
i've tried "ivtvctl -d /dev/video0 -q 1". The latter resulted in the
following error: "ioctl VIDIOC_S_AUDIO failed: Invalid argument". I've tried this with 0.3.6w and 0.3.7a. Still no audio on video0. Any suggestions anyone?
That is certifiably crazy. There should be no reason a PVR-500 tuner should return EINVAL from a request to switch to audio 1. Is there any chance I you can give me an ssh login and sudo access (module load / unload / install) to try and debug this? I really wish I had a PVR-500, since we seem to have so many issues with these cards having only one working tuner. Think Hauppauge would loan me one if I asked?
