I'm using a self-compiled debian kernel with version 2.6.8-20050725, but "make install" copies the modules to /lib/module/2.6.8 where they are not used by the kernel. Even starting the make with KERNELDIR=/lib/modules/2.6.8-20050722 make KERNELDIR=/lib/modules/2.6.8-20050722 make install does not help. At least with the installation! It's not a big problem, but as you just mentioned /lib/modules/$(KVER) in your patch, I thought I'll give it a try. kind regards, Christof -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Christof Dallermassl, Software Developer Hyperwave Research & Development, Albrechtgasse 9, A-8010 Graz, Austria Tel. +43 316 82 09 18 - 634, Fax +43 316 82 09 18 - 99 mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.hyperwave.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ ivtv-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ivtv-devel
