Hey all
Since using ivtv-0.3.7b the tearing issue has been fixed (hooray!),
however a few new problems have arisen..
The first is a problem when changing the zoom mode. Before, switching
between zoom modes was instant. Now after flicking through a few, it
hangs for about 10-20 seconds before getting to the next mode.
The second is when switching to the program guide within mythtv. The
guide will hang for a few seconds whilst the picture in the top corner
initialises, and from there on scrolling through channels is slow.
The third is that after 10 minutes or so, the audio on live tv goes out
of sync, and gets worse over time. Exiting or changing channel fixes it.
None of these problems existed in 0.37a, but the tearing fix is so
crucial I really dont want to go back..
There doesnt appear to be anything interesting in the logs whilst this
happens, but i can provide any you want
This is all happening on a PVR-350 TV out
