It is a very small distribution (LinVDR) which has no modprobe.conf

I need bttv later for a dvb-t-card.

o.k., so I tried 0.3.7b. As suggested in a message after "make install" , I
deleted not only msp3400.ko, but also tuner.ko, tveeprom.ko and tda??? in
/kernel/drivers/media/video. Everything worked - but not very stable.

Then I tried again 0.2.0-rc3k and deleted this time also the files from the
kernel. (Suggestion: If this is necessary, there should be a similar check
in the Makefile like it was done in 0.3.7b.)

Now I got a picture, but only from one channel. I could tune to every
channel, but got always the same frequency. Again I found i2c-client errors
in the logfile.

Could there be something wrong with the "i2c fixes" in 0.2.0-rc3k ?

Does anybody have success with this driver and Kernel 2.6.13 ?
