Now I realize I could use a normal kernel and just compile lirc-i2c
(which ANNOYING doesn't compile under newer -mm patches, which -vivid
uses) but it seems odd this doesn't work. Is it simply not
supported/implemented? Do I have one of the more budget 150s?
The remote device is different -- how were you expecting it to work? It
is supported by lirc_i2c, if you post the compile errors then I or
somebody else might be able to tell you how to fix it (probably best
directed at the lirc-devel list though).
Well I hacked up the code and got it to compile and even more surprisingly
work. So thats fixed... Now I noticed that most channels have sound and
some do not. Channel 19 for example has no sound, go up (in my case) to 23,
and sound, back down, nothing. Strange.
