If you run X on the 350 you can use Xv to display the video with at most 3 frames delay. There is a reasonablt amount of buffering in the drivers output code which might be trimable but may start to cause issues. I believe from some experiments i was doing last night there is also buffering in the mpeg decoder on the card which will add to the latency. There will also be buffering on the encoding side as well.
