I looked through an earlier post of yours containing a dmesg output. I noticed
a few strange things there:
cx25840: Ignoring new-style parameters in presence of
obsolete ones
What options do you provide to cx25840 (or any other ivtv modules for that
matter)?
cx25840: *** I2C Write to no cx25840 device 0x43.
Where does this message come from? I cannot find it, not in the driver and not
in the kernel. It looks suspicious since cx25840 uses address 0x44.
