You need to remove following line from your c2s.xml:
<id password-change='yes'
*require-starttls='yes'*
pemfile='/etc/ssl/certs/jabberd2.pem'>nix.org.ua</id>
Or if you are not using virtual domains just comment these out:
*<pemfile>/etc/ssl/certs/jabberd2.pem</pemfile>*
*<require-starttls/>*
*<ssl-port>5223</ssl-port>*
