Hi David,
I do agree with the sighted assistance. I had to do that on a few occasions.
Now for something to try. Bill stated that the automatic graphic labeling
helps however the labels are not saved. I wonder if he first used the
automatic feature then when they are named tab through each of them and use
insert g to go through the procedure to make it permanent. I have been
looking for something to test this theory.

I've found in doing that some times it helps to have sited help in order to
label them correctly, but often enough it can be done solo as well. Just so
you know is all.

Hi William,
Do the following:
1. With the Jaws cursor sitting on the graphic, press insert + G
to open the graphics labeler.
2. Hit the delete key to remove the current graphic label, which is usually
a number.
3. Tab, and fill in the edit fields as appropriate, and then tab again
to the save graphic , and make sure the save to application file is
selected.
4. Spacebar the okay button, you are done.
Note:
You will have to repeat this procedure for each graphic that you need to
label.

.Hi William,
.Well, I'm not exactly sure about this, but it never hurts to try.
.Try manually labeling the graphics while in the application, making sure to
.save your changes to the application file each time.
.Normally, when the application is opened, the associated Jaws files will
.too.
.The reason I say I'm not sure, is that the application resides on a network
.drive,
.and I don't have any first-hand experience with this.

.
.All:
.
.I work for Department of the Army, and we have a new program for accessing
.forms. When the program loads, all Jaws reads is graphic 277 graphic 640
.etc.
.
.If I run the automatic graphics labeler (control+insert+g), the program is
.kind o, sort o, accessible.
.
.I actually have to run the labeler when the program first loads, and before
.I can pick a form to open.
.
.This process takes several minutes, and I have to run it each time I open
.the program.
.
.The program resides on an applications hence read only network drive.
.
.Is there a way to save the graphic labels so I don't have to keep running
.the labeler?
.
.Thanks.
