Hello, Below is an e-mail from another list with instructions how to play real media files in winamp. I use this method myself. HTH Negoslav Real Alternative and the Tara plugin will not allow you to play real Media streams in Winamp. for streams, you need to use Media Player Classic which is included with Real Alternative. with Real alternative installed, you can, however, play .ra and .rm files that are on your hard drive using winamp. The best part is that you don't even need to have the Tara plugin installed to do it. In fact, you might as well uninstall Tara. to play ra and .rm files on your hard drive in winamp, as long as Real alternative is installed, go to the list of input plugins from the preferences window. You want to arrow down to the Nullsoft Direct show decoder plugin. when you click the configure button, you will see a list of extensions for the plugin delimited by semicolons.
