I will tell you what I do. Sometimes when I open an email, it will start reading from the bottom or sometimes the top, or sometimes, some other place in the email. So I just get into the habit of pressing, ctrl, and the home key. That takes me to the top of the email. Maybe others will have a better fix. But that is the way I solved the problem, for me.
