Hi Jerry, This is how I would scan it using Openbook, & maybe you can use the same steps, or something similar with Kurzweil 1. Open the file, & press, control + P, to open the print dialogue. 2. For Openbook while in the print dialogue, I would arrow down to the, Freedom Import Printer, & press enter. 3. Now I would wait a few seconds, & Openbook would open & scan the file. I've done this on many occasions & it works pretty good. Hopefully Kurzweil has similar options. If you can't get it done with Kurzweil, & it's nothing personal, you can send it to me off list, & I'll run it through Openbook, & see if I can get the text extracted for you. Take care. To All JAWS Users: I was sent an attachment of text, but it was sent as a photo. Is there a way to send it to Word or Notepad so JAWS can read it? Or is it better to print it out and scan it in using Kurzweil, which is the scanning software I use? Thanks in advance.
