Jaws doesn't interact directly with a mail server, so technically it works equally well with all of them. Jaws interacts with the mail program you're using.

If you're running Vista, Windows Mail works quite well with Jaws. I didn't start using Thunderbird until I got my Windows 10 computer, but that's what I'm using to compose this message. I think Thunderbird would be a good option on a Vista computer using Jaws 17. Both Thunderbird and Windows Mail support POP3 and IMAP servers which are pretty standard for all providers, including Yahoo, Gmail, etc.
