Gene, fortunately, invoking the JAWS cursor is easy. Just press the top-right 
key of the numpad, above the long +/PC cursor key. You can toggle between the 
JAWS and PC cursors by alternately pressing these two keys. Working with the 
JAWS cursor has two important functions. First, it enables you to move around 
the screen without accidentally pressing a control. Second, it often gives you 
more information than you can get with the PC cursor.
