Powershell is pretty cool. There is the GUI version, whose name I have forgotten, but I don't know how accessible that one is. But the command-oriented PS isdefinitely usable and you can do some neat tricks with it. I'm definitely still learning. . I may not be a system admin but I recently used it to create a small script to generate randomised lists of files from specific folders, namely, my local film collection, so that my girlfriend and I could end up with a new flick to watch each night. You can use it to get info about your network and perform other tasks. You can install and uninstall apps just by entering in instructions from the command line. I guess if you aren't interested in this sort of thing it's not that advantageous.
