I am having a problem with windows defender all of a sudden in the
action center it says that windows defender is protecting my computer
but I do not have windows defender the only thing is that I have is an
icon of windows defender in my control panel that when I use to enter it
said that windows defender is turned off and now all of a sudden it just
has the scan page listed when you enter the icon in control panel and
when I went into windows update it had a definition ready to down load
for it.
my windows fire wall is off
I am very puzzled by this
when I enter my McAfee live safe program which I have as my anti virus
program it says that everything is turned on including the personal fire
wall but it is no longer listed in action center how can I fix this so
that it is McAfee live safe listed in action center and not windows
defender?
and another question I have is since windows defender is listed in
action center does this mean that it is turned on and if so how do I
turn it off?
