Hi Pam,

With the PDF file highlighted only, don't open it, open your context menu
with the application key or Shift + F10.

Find the, Open With, option & click on that to see if Adobe is in the list
of programs to choose from. If Adobe or Reader DC isn't there, check your
Program Files & Program Files X86 folders on the root of your operating
system drive to make sure it's installed.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

I don't know if anyone has addressed this, maybe they h ave, and I've just
started plowing through e-mails and missed it, but maybe try reloading
acrobat dc. Remove it and reload it if it is not showing up in default
programs. When you load it, it should giv eyou the ability to make it
default.
You can also try to use the applications key and see if it will give you the
ability to choose acrobat dc toopen the file before deleting it and
reloading it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] PDF Documents

Hi

When I try to open a PDF document it opens up in Microsoft edge and it
appears to be blank. I would like it to open in Acrobat reader DC.

I have tried to go to the default programmes but acrobat reader dc isn't
listed there so now I'm stuck.

Am using win10 latest with jfw17.

Step by step instructions would be very much appreciated before I start
pulling out my hair in frustration.

Kind regards
Pam Mahuika
