Hi Pam, With the PDF file highlighted only, don't open it, open your context menu with the application key or Shift + F10.
Find the, Open With, option & click on that to see if Adobe is in the list of programs to choose from. If Adobe or Reader DC isn't there, check your Program Files & Program Files X86 folders on the root of your operating system drive to make sure it's installed. Take care. Mike.
