Yeah...screen referesh doesn't really seem to do anything. Restarting jAWS might help sometimes. Was just hoping for a consistently workable solution. Thanks, man.

I'm using Windows 10 1709 with JAWS 18. I use a few old programs, like Soulseek nS, where I have most noticed this issue, but I've noted it using other programs as well; just can't think of them at the moment. This slsk program requires some JAWS cursor use, to move the mouse pointer, open the search dialog, etc. Usually, it works fine, although if the window ever accidentally gets minimised, I lose access to the program entirely and have to restart it - I think this is some incompatibility issue with Windows 10. Now, periodically, I have noticed that when the window is up, and I am trying to use the jAWS cursor to move around, it will seem to get stuck. Instead of saying "blank" or not saying anything (as was reported by another user a few weeks back), it will say a bunch of really weird stuff, like it is seeing an example of every kind of control and attribute and trying to report them, even though they are not there. It will say stuff like "checked unchecked pressed clickable draggable droppable invalid entry read only", and I won't be able to move the cursor anywhere. I have noticed that resizing the window or routing the cursor to PC sometimes solves the problem, but not consistently. As I know this behaviour manifests in other things, too, I was wondering if anyone had experienced this, and what you do to "free up" the cursor. Any thoughts?
