I don't understand. Mike D., one of the most knowledgeable members of this
list insists that CCleaner 5.42 is not JAWS accessible, yet you claim that
you have no issues with it. How can this be ?

That's reassuring. But Piriform has been known to play games with its
customers, and just because no unwanted software is installed along with
CCleaner 5.42 does not necessarily mean that Piriform won't again try to
sneak in unwanted software in a future release of CCleaner. And according to
the moderator of the Tech Talk list, CCleaner 5.42 may not be accessible.
Is this true?

Yes, I can assure you that CCleaner 5.42 standard will install without any
third party software at all.
