Hi

Thank you very much for the reply. Since those links open just fine in
Firefox, you may very well be correct about the age of Internet Explorer 11.
I was hoping for a resolution that would work for Internet explorer, but it
is what it is.

Thank you again.

Mike

The problem is that the URL of your link is to long for the older program.
You can use the application button and go up to get the URL and you will be
able to follow the link. The best answer is to use a newer program that will
handle the longer links

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem opening links that are in some email messages

Hi

Using Outlook 2010 under Windows 10 and Internet Explorer 11 as the default
browser and JAWS 2018 latest build, when I press enter on the links in some
email messages to open them, all I get is an error message that says
something like:

Unable to find URL for Tracker ID.

The links in those emails open fine if I change the default browser to
Firefox. But I would rather keep Internet Explorer as my default browser
until Edge is working well with JAWS.

I have tried changing my default browser to Firefox and then back to
Internet explorer with no success. I have also tried resetting Internet
Explorer settings, also with no success.

I will be sincerely grateful for any assistance.

Thank you in advance.

Mike
