That key will announce the column, which is useful,
but I was hoping there was a key combination that would tell me, for
example, 3.5 inches.
I've noticed that the column number might be slightly different from one
line to another on the same tab stop

Tom

Is there a JAWS keystroke that will tell me the tab position of the cursor?
