Gerald, I have been using the free version of Avast with good success. They constantly update the software and Avast automatically downloads new virus definitions when they are available. The interface is good but requires that the Jaws cursor be used at times. A built-in voice warns you when a threat is detected. This wasn't one of your choices but I thought I'd let you know about it.
