Do alt f, t, then arrow down to display. Tab over until you see paragraph
markers, and uncheck it.

Are you using the regular MS word ribbon or the JAWS virtual ribbon, which I
believe prevents shortcuts from working?

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Turn on and off space/paragraph marker settings

My word settings were changed and now the space marker announcement
continually sounds as I go through my word documents. I have used the
Control shift H and control, shift 8 to try and toggle it on and off, but I
believe that a box was checked in the ribbon so that the hot key will not
work. Does anyone know the step by step directions to uncheck this box? I am
using Windows 10, Word 2013 and Jaws 17, any answers would be greatly
appreciated.
