My g-mail account is configured as imap. I do this because it allows me to more easily check e-mail with my laptop when traveling.

In other words, they just don't go away! I have also tried going to the gmail web site, and deleting the messages from my personal g-mail account. But, I find the web site itself difficult to navigate, and I have difficulty consistently getting to where I need to go to delete those messages. I guess my only option at this point would be to disconnect from the internet, and see what happens from there. That just doesn't seem like it should be necessary, though! If you're on wifi, just disable the wireless on your machine and if you're hard wired, depending on what system you're running, go into adaptor settings or network (maybe someone else can give you specific instructions) and disable the connection. I can move them to my trash folder, and supposedly permanently delete them from that folder, but when I go back to my drafts folder, the original draft e-mails re-appear. Sometimes, I can correct this situation by going into the drafts folder in my personal g-mail account and eliminating the messages that way, but this does not always work either. Has anyone else experienced this issue? And, if so, how did you ultimately get rid of those stubborn draft messages?
