Hi,
Try doing and insert/Jaws key + B to have Jaws read the notification bar.

Alt + N doesn't work.

While Alt + N does bring focus to the notification bar, all JAWS reads at
that point is the button caption that is currently selected. It does not
read any message or query that might be in the notification bar.
Attempting to tab to the text to get JAWS to read it only moves the focus
away from the notification bar requiring another Alt + N to get back to it.

Thanks anyway.
