This is a wild guess, are you recompiling jboss from source? some versions
of the build script seem to copy a vanilla jboss.jcml into the
dist/conf/default directory over my carefully handcrafted version.  On the
other hand every vanilla jboss.jcml I have seen has JNDIView working
perfectly.
