Yup! You're using the RMI version in JDK 1.2.2 on B to communicate with
the RMI version in JDK 1.3 on S. RMI changed a lot between JDK1.2.x and
JDK1.3, and the two aren't compatible with each other. Can you upgrade B
to JDK1.3? While JBoss can work with JDK1.2.2 clients, I don't believe
it can work with JDK1.2.2 and JDK1.3 clients simultaneously.

Subject: [JBoss-user] StreamCorruptedException
While trying to connect to my EJB from machine A to server S, no
problem, it
all works fine.
When trying to do the same from machine B to the same server, I get an
javax.naming.CommunicationException. Root exception is
java.io.StreamCorruptedException: Type code out of range, is 125
A and S are linux machines, and B is a BSD machine.
A and S are running with JDK1.3, and B with JDK1.2.2
any idea of what's happening ?
regards
