Hello,
Check whether any running process is using that port or not.
If you are using jboss in unix, the following command will be helpful
to find out the status of the port.
#netstat -na | grep 1098
(or)
#netstat -a | grep 1098
If any process is using it, stop that process and restart the jboss.
