I have the same question about documentation. I have read this link to wiki, but the information contained there is really very small - for example, how you can enable TLS support for SMTP (exactly: how to enforce using STARTTLS command when talking with SMTP server) or how to enforce logging into SMTP server (that is: using AUTH xxx command). Should this be done by configuring mail-service.xml or programatically, inside code using mail Session object got from JNDI ??
