If you annotated the class, use 

  | Timer ann = invocation.resolveClassAnnotation(Timer.class)
  | 

If you annotated a field/method/constructor, use 

  | Timer ann invocation.resolveAnnotation(Timer.class)
  | 

You can then access the type attribute

  | System.out.println(ann.type());
  |
