What do you mean with "impossible in the menu system"? Do you mean creating a chatroom? If so, you are seeing a usability issue only as you can connect to remote MUC services. Just open the Discover Server dialog first and enter the server with the MUC component you want to use. Wait until discovery is finished and then click the create chatroom option again.
