The syntax was pseudo code to show the sequence of rules
defined )(correctly) WRT the agenda function placement.

I understand what you said.
However, I expected to see rule 1 on the agenda at some point.

If it is not there when agenda is before the rule, and is not there when
placed on the RHS of rule one, then it appears one cannot capture it on the
agenda (except whenre I will try what Ernest said - place it before the
run - but my "run" is in a MainInJava Java app)
