actually I use eclipse for all my jmeter work and so does most everyone else I 
believe. are you building from within eclipse?  I normally just use command line to 
run ANT.
 
if you haven't given that a try, it might be worth a shot. If not, I can build it 
locally and send you just the http related jar files.
