An even simpler method would be to introduce the special keywords
"child" and "parent", which act like the keyword "selected" but work on
members of selected objects (child) or objects of which the selected
objects are members (parent), respectively.
You could then first select "type:relation key:value" and then, in a
second step, select "type:way child".
