John Resig made the point that the doc ready is supposed to help the user not experience weird display issues vs doing doc onload (things appearing on load and then disappearing). I thought one of the release notes made commments about the doc ready being changed in 1.2.2 or 1.2.3. That's why I'm wondering if there is some bug.
