As far as I know, we do not have access to the repository directly. We
have to ask SF.net admins to make filesystem-level changes to the
repository, and we have to rely on their CVS dumps to get a copy of
the full repo. With dumps and anon CVS down, we're in a somewhat
untenable situation. This certainly provides a good reason for moving
off SF.net.

You don't have access to the direct repository contents?   Could you tar
them yourself or rsync them?
